"Keeper"

Keeper's name came about as a way for me to let my husband know who I was referring to, before I had decided on what to name her. We had several babies that played outside together every day and if I needed her brought in for some reason I would say to him "you know...the one I am keeping". It didn't take long before I realized I had indeed chosen her name.
Keeper is a very powerful female, almost masculine in physique. Her movement is strong and purposeful, exactly as the Giant Schnauzer breed standard describes as "ground covering gait". She is exceptionally gifted with scent detection and I imagine she dreams of having a tracking or search and rescue career. I notice the strengths and weaknesses within each of my dogs and Keeper possesses exceptional eyesight as well. Here at Fanta C Giant Schnauzers, we are excited to visualize her input in our breeding program.
